Diets can fuck right off

So as previously stated I'm what we call a 'fatty' and for the last 15 years I have been dieting, not solid as I would look like a prisoner of war not like I was eating them, so on and off I have been dieting for half my life and this has included a multitude of diets and they worked at the time but the problem is in my mind almost an addiction to eating unhealthy because we all kind of know what's bad for us and what's not, I mean healthy eating, exercise and everything in proportion is good but a large pack of chocolate biscuits ice cream and cake at 23.00 isn't.
So I decided 2 years ago to write a blog about the real life behind dieting as these fad diets and celebrity diets are 'horse shit' i mean if you have been fat 5 minutes or put on weight after your baby then yeah they might work but if you have been a fat person most of you life the connection and mentality towards food is so different, so I want to talk about how diets make you feel the social situations that sometimes compromise your diet and the struggles with life changing diets but i also want to show the positives and the rewards it can have.
So today is day one and i think because a lot of this is mind over matter I'm already struggling (it's been 11 hours since my last biscuit and I feel starved) I think it's like anything when you know you can't have it you feel more drawn to it.
The diet it's self is a mix of many diets we have tried over the years and we have decided (the we is me and my mom) to set or goals really low but over a long period to allow the changes to feel more natural, we are aiming for 1lb a week over a year that's 52lb which is about 3.5/4 stone and a pound a week is more than achievable, now I always find when you diet is a massive thing to lose as much weight as possible as fast as possible but this normally ends in disappointment or failure. If you get a 1lb loss normally you feel like you have wasted your time or it's pointless but when you aim for that and concentrate on the bigger picture it's a great idea, we are also swapping one meal a day for a slim fast (bar or milkshake) to help detox for the first stone at least, you also need to make sure you drink the right amount of water for your body size this is hugely important.
I thought I would make a short list of the main diets we tried and how well they worked

1 weight watchers: now we tried this diet when I was 16 and I lost 6 stone it was easy to follow and if you stayed on plan and followed the point system was effective

2 slimming world: now I love this diet as you have your points your syns and you can eat like a pig as long as you eat the slimming world planned foods

3 Cambridge diet: now it's only food allowed by the diet so milkshakes soups bars and there porridge, most of them taste like shit and it's expensive but wow it is a quick big loss diet

4 slim fast diet: now this diet isn't as intense as the Cambridge diet and is more varied but wow does it make you fart a lot

5 diet pills: now when someone says you can get pills that stop fats being induced into the body I said yes instantly but really should have listened when they said still cut out fatty food as it ended in me shiting myself and this was like oil so I stopped those

Ok so as the diet progresses I will be adding tips, recipes, places to eat and the real truth of how shitty dieting makes you feel but how it's saving my life as I'm 24 stone with a 45" waistline and it will eventually kill me so today really is the day I change my life, ok I will be bitching and moaning about it but still here we go.
